Only Rock & Roll
Who would have thought that today, the most insulting, absurd, incorrect, hurtful, outrageous thing you could say would have nothing to do with gays, ethnic minority groups or the disabled.
In fact, I have found, it has nothing to do with minority groups at all. It is not politcal nor to do with the inner workings of society. Maybe perhaps society.
Indeed, the most offensive and out-there thing one can say today is a viewpoint shared by myself, and about 1% of the music loving world.
The Rolling Stones were, and still are, better than The Beatles.
Once you have all stopped being frozen with terror, let me explain.
Sure, The Beatles may have started the whole rock thing. But really, they bore me. In my opinion, the Stones were the real birth of rock.
They've also survived longer. I know Lennon was shot but that is completely not the point.
The point is, I believe the Stones were so much better than the Beatles, and no damn conformant is gonna convince me otherwise :P
(Seriously, about the conformant stuff. All's well and good if you're a fan of the Beatles. I respect that. But what I don't respect is people reprimanding me if they're only going along with the trend of "All Hail The Beatles". Not cool)
